Shorter Days

Shorter, colder weather means more time indoors, with the wood stove going fuLl blast….I love heating with wood, and have two wonderful wood-burning stoves - a blue enamel one in my kitchen, which churns out heat but also has a cast-iron top that I cook on - and in the winter there is always a pot of hot soup simmering...

In the shop, I still have a cast iron Attwwod stove that is 50 years old, and was my only source of heat in the farmhouse for years and years
